Biography

John Hess was appointed Chairman of our Board of Directors and has served as Chief Executive Officer of our general partner since September 2019. Mr. Hess served as Chairman of the Board of Hess Midstream Partners GP LLC from September 2014 until December 2019 and as Chief Executive Officer of its general partner from July 2014 until December 2019. Mr. Hess is Chief Executive Officer of Hess Corporation. He joined Hess in May 1977, was elected a director in November 1978 and served as chairman of the board from 1995 until 2013.

Mr. Hess is a member of the Board of Directors of KKR & Co., Inc. (formerly KKR & Co. L.P.) since 2011.
